Information we collect<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enquiries and correspondence:<\/strong> your name, email address, telephone number, message, and any project location, requirements or other information you choose to provide through our forms, email, telephone or WhatsApp.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Website operation and security:<\/strong> technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security events, as processed by our website and hosting services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Analytics and advertising:<\/strong> subject to the applicable consent requirements, cookie or similar identifiers, browsing activity, referral and campaign information, and events such as a successful enquiry-form submission.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cookie preferences:<\/strong> your consent choices and information needed to remember or demonstrate those choices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Information is normally supplied by you or generated when you use the website. Fields marked as required are needed to handle your request; without sufficient contact details we may be unable to respond. Please do not include sensitive personal data or information about other people unless necessary for your enquiry.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:22px;line-height:1.4;margin-top:28px;margin-bottom:14px;\">3. Purposes and legal bases<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Responding to requests and preparing proposals:<\/strong> taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). General business correspondence may instead rely on our legitimate interest in responding to relevant communications (Article 6(1)(f)).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Operating, maintaining and protecting the website:<\/strong> our legitimate interests in providing a reliable website and preventing misuse (Article 6(1)(f)).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Analytics and advertising measurement:<\/strong> consent where required (Article 6(1)(a)), including applicable cookie-consent rules.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keeping required records and handling rights requests:<\/strong> compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). WhatsApp, social media and external content<\/h2>\n<p>If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, your telephone number, profile information and messages may be processed by WhatsApp as well as by us. WhatsApp&#8217;s own privacy terms apply to its service. Instagram content and links to social-media platforms may also involve processing by the relevant provider when content loads or you follow a link. External platforms operate under their own policies.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:22px;line-height:1.4;margin-top:28px;margin-bottom:14px;\">6. Who may receive your data<\/h2>\n<p>Data may be accessed by authorised people within UNITY DESIGN and by service providers as necessary for their role, including website hosting (Hostinger), website maintenance, email and communications services, and Google or Meta services described above. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive information where required by law or necessary for a legal matter. Service providers acting on our behalf must process data under appropriate contractual instructions. Google, Meta and other external platforms may also act as independent controllers for their own purposes, as explained in their policies.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:22px;line-height:1.4;margin-top:28px;margin-bottom:14px;\">7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area<\/h2>\n<p>Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers must rely on an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission&#8217;s Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional safeguards where required. The applicable mechanism depends on the provider, recipient and processing concerned. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:22px;line-height:1.4;margin-top:28px;margin-bottom:14px;\">8. How long we keep information<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enquiries that do not become client projects:<\/strong> we retain the enquiry and associated correspondence for <strong>30 days after the last contact<\/strong>, then delete the personal data from our active enquiry records, unless retention is necessary for a legal obligation or a specific legal claim.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enquiries that become client projects:<\/strong> relevant information forms part of the client\/project record and is retained for delivering and administering the project and for the applicable accounting, tax, contractual and legal-claims requirements. The duration depends on the record and obligation concerned.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical logs, consent records and provider-held data:<\/strong> retention depends on the operational or security purpose, applicable legal requirements and the relevant service settings. These records are separate from the 30-day enquiry rule. Contact us for information about a particular record or service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"font-size:22px;line-height:1.4;margin-top:28px;margin-bottom:14px;\">9. Your rights<\/h2>\n<p>Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise your rights, email <a href=\"mailto:info@unitydesign.gr\">info@unitydesign.gr<\/a>. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if the GDPR permits an extension, we will explain it within that month.<\/p>\n<p>You can lodge a complaint with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dpa.gr\/en\">Hellenic Data Protection Authority<\/a> or another competent supervisory authority.
